Homes for All Member Coordinator
The Homeless and Housing Coalition of Kentucky has administered a statewide AmeriCorps program since 1994. This is a federally funded program through the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). The funding agent at the state level is Serve Kentucky, part of the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. HHCK has administered a statewide VISTA program since June of 2016. HHCK is seeking to fill the position of MemberCoordinator, who will work with both the AmeriCorps and VISTA programs.
The person serving as Member Coordinator is responsible for the following:
Promote communication, esprit d’ Corps, and an overall positive experience among members. Provide ongoing support to members throughout program year; be available to answer questions, solve problems; help membersaccomplish objectives; conduct quarterly conference calls; update Homes for All social media; ensure members are on track to complete program requirements; communicate reporting deadlines; communicate other information as needed (service projects, trainings).
Training AmeriCorps and VISTA Members and Partner Sites. Work alongside program director to establish yearly schedule of trainings, training curriculum, and arrange facilities; design training events to accomplish program objectives, arrange trainers and facilitators for training events with input from program director; arrange team building activities and spring service project; compile training and resource manuals for members and site supervisors; lead sessions when necessary; purchase training supplies and arrange meals.
Maintain Member Documentation. Responsible for ensuring that member files are complete and up-to-date; work with members to locate any missing documentation; collect bi-monthly time sheets from all members; ensure time logs are approved by site supervisors, assist PD in compiling quarterly and end of year reports; conduct regular file audits to ensure compliance.
Recruiting AmeriCorps and VISTA Members and Partner Sites. Assist program director in new member recruitment; conduct group interviews with potential candidates (phone as needed); provide input to partner sites to assist in the final selection of a member.
Other duties as assigned. This includes: conducting site visits, obtaining evaluations, and maintaining close ties with our funders.
Experience: An associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred. AmeriCorps and/or VISTA experience is strongly preferred. The Member Coordinator must be able to perform multiple tasks and be willing to work with persons of diverse racial, social, economic and educational backgrounds. They must have a personal commitment to social change and have both strong oral and written communication skills. Duties also require computer knowledge, reliable transportation and the willingness to travel extensively overnight throughout the state of Kentucky. Interested applicants should also have the ability to think critically, resolve conflict, and be self-motivated with an ability to take initiative. The position also requires the ability to stand and sit for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. Use of computer, fax, and copier is common daily. During trainings, heavy lifting and bending are required.

Hours: This is a full-time, exempt position (37.5 hours per week) at $16.41/hour.

Overview: Frontier Housing has served northeastern Kentucky communities for over 40 years by developing housing for homeowners and renters, and providing owner-occupied repair services. The Construction Manager will oversee the management of all construction activities. The Construction Manager will work at the direction of the Director of Construction, and will guide the Construction Supervisor and Construction Coordinator as needed in order to assure that project schedules are met. Overview: Frontier Housing has served northeastern Kentucky communities for over 40 years by developing housing for homeowners and renters, and providing owner-occupied repair services. The Construction Supervisor will oversee the management of construction activity related to Frontier’s Mutual Self Help program. Through Frontier’s Mutual Self-Help program groups of homebuyer families come together to cooperatively build their homes under the guidance, leadership, instruction and support of Frontier staff. The Construction Supervisor will lead, teach and work alongside mutual self-help homebuyers, at times when the homebuyers are able to participate in the homebuilding process. This will include working evenings and weekends. This is an hourly position this is considered non-exempt. Chief Financial Officer
Under the general supervision of the CEO and with considerable exercise of initiative and judgment, the Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the total financial and accounting management of the agency and the planning, directing and coordinating of all financial and accounting activities. The CFO will have primary responsibility for all accounting and finance activities, including overseeing long-term and short-term financial plans, managing all commercial loans, coordinating and assisting with 3rd party audits, supervising accounting staff, preparing and reviewing financial statements, reviewing books for correctness and completeness, supervising AP and AR activity for the corporation, developing Annual Budget, and managing all commercial property and liability insurance for New Directions, St. Benedict, and any other related entity.
Selected Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
§ CPA and/or MBA in Accounting or Finance
§ Experience with Commercial Loans and Mortgages and maintaining and developing Banking relationships
§ Commercial Insurance Management Experience
§ Minimum of 7 years of experience managing an accounting or finance department
